We are proud to announce that Karissa B. Amendt has recently celebrated her 15th anniversary with BCK.
Karissa began her journey with us in June 2009, starting as a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. Her dedication and skill propelled her to a position as a Paralegal within our Estate and Trust Administration Department in July 2012. Karissa has spent the last twelve years in her paralegal role expanding her experience related to estate and gift taxation, complex trust administration, and contested estate and trust matters. This knowledge base makes Karissa an indispensable asset to our attorneys and clients. Whether coordinating with advisors, communicating with clients on behalf of the attorneys, compiling information, or drafting pleadings, tax returns or other documents, her contributions throughout all steps of a case are invaluable.
Having graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in Political Science, Karissa most recently earned her Certificate of Completion in Paralegal Studies from Phoenix College, and her Certified Paralegal credential through the National Association of Legal Assistants.
Beyond her professional achievements, Karissa finds joy as an armchair investigator of true crime, a fervent consumer of popular culture and politics, and a proud owner of two chihuahua pit bull mixes.
Please join us in congratulating Karissa on this remarkable milestone. We are grateful to have such an excellent paralegal at our firm, and we look forward to many more years of collaboration and success.
