EJ Brooks
Pets are not our whole life, but they do help to make our lives whole.
For many of us at BCK, our canine companions are valued members of our families, and bring great joy to our lives… and as the traditional traits of “man’s best friend” are also hallmarks of our firm – dependability, loyalty, intelligence – it is befitting that we pay tribute to our best friends here.
ZUKO BROOKS
Zuko is a Great Dane and was born in November of 2018. He is a huge dog gaining about 20 lbs. per month during puppyhood and eats about 9 cups of food per day! He is very sweet and loves to play with Blitz (although Blitz sometimes just wants to take a nap). Zuko also loves to lean on you, lay on you, and sit on your lap.
CHLOE BROOKS
Chloe is a Labrador Retriever and was born in June of 2009. She became a part of the family as a puppy She is a very social girl and just loves people. Her favorite pastimes are playing tug-of-war (which EJ and Matt hate), eating ice cubes, licking moisturizer off your hands, and chasing her younger sister, Blitz, around the house.
BLITZ BROOKS
Blitz is a Labrador Retriever and was born in May of 2010. She became a part of the family when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and a breeder could not keep her for breeding. EJ and Matt adopted Blitz in the summer of 2011 when they decided that Chloe needed a playmate. Blitz has her bursts of energy, but overall is a mellow and sweet dog who loves to cuddle on the couch.
Blitz’s favorite pastimes are cuddling, running laps around the house, playing fetch, and chasing and pouncing on the laser pointer.
